Lamplight Designs spojnsors a local art competition every spring. The competition is open to the art students of the local high school and has become a highly regarded event occuring in mid-May. A panel of judges carefully selects the best submissions and the three best entries are awarded prize checks varing from $200 to $50. In Addition to the, Lamplight also sponsors the art program toat the high school..

The theme will be The Body. A poster is currently being designe ant the event will be hosted by The Coffee Mug 'n' more on Mason Square.

The opening was held at the Mason Gallery on the 18th of May from 5:30 - 7:30.
